Objection 01We already manage this in spreadsheets.
Your buyers like having the sheet in front of them, and your managers like seeing last week still on screen. We do not take that away. Hoodwise writes forecasts, par targets, the prep board, and the active vendor list back into a workbook you already trust, and the morning report reads it again at the end of the night so tomorrow opens the file you closed today. The nightly rituals — the after-service recalc, the Monday re-baseline, the “who actually used what” chase — go away. The workbook stays.
Objection 02Our contracted caterer handles purchasing.
Contract shapes differ enough that we do not assume yours. Some venues keep a single in-house buyer; some run an exclusive contract caterer who books against a master PO; some split purchasing across two or three specialty vendors. Hoodwise lets you declare which model you run and routes every reorder to whoever owns that relationship. Exclusivity flags are honored, so nothing gets reordered behind a hostess’s back, and the buyer of record sees the PO before it leaves the kitchen.
Objection 03How does this work for one-off events?
For convention centers, the one-off is the main course, not the exception. The forecast window is configurable per service, par targets reset on event boundaries, and the vendor list switches as the BEO changes. There is no annual setup fee that punishes a venue for running a heavy quarter and a quiet one. The canonical first run is a two-week pilot on a single Banquet Event Order — your team runs it alongside us, and you keep the playbook when the pilot ends.
Objection 04We can’t add another login.
There is no login on the floor. Managers read the morning report in email, the same way they read any other recap. Crew reads prep tasks on a printed board or a shared station tablet that lives at the pass. The GM gets one SSO’d dashboard role that reuses the identity your venue already issues — Okta, Entra, Google, whatever is in play today. If you would rather Hoodwise sit behind your existing credential, we will configure it that way; one fewer password is one fewer reset ticket.
Objection 05How does pricing scale?
Hoodwise is a flat per-venue line. Adding another stand inside the same venue is included on the plan you already bought; adding a second venue is a second flat line. Multi-venue operators in the upper tier pick up a per-venue discount automatically. There are no per-seat or per-event usage charges waiting in the fine print — what you see on the pricing page is what you pay for the month. If your footprint shifts mid-year, the next invoice reflects it; nothing recalculates retroactively.
